The XHTML 2 Working Group has not discussed creating ARIA versions of 
those markup languages, but it would be trivial to do so (using the DTD 
ARIA implementation that is part of the spec).  I will raise this with 
the working group.

Steve, if this is something you need immediately, please let me know. 
Otherwise, if you can wait a couple of weeks, I have given myself an 
action to respond to this thread after discussing it with the working group.
