Hi there,

When checking my files yesterday I got a lot of errors which surprised me
because I frequently check files. Today checking the same file by file
upload I get the message: Error found while checking this document as HTML
4.01 Transitional!

No Character Encoding Found! Falling back to UTF-8

Unable to Determine Parse Mode!

When checking the identical file by URI (
http://www.echtkarin.nl/html/m1s1.html )I get: This document was
successfully checked as XHTML 1.0 Strict!

Why is the validator giving such different results on different days on the
same unchanged file????

I used the same PC and the same webbrowse (FF 3.02) Trying IE 6 yielded the
same strange results.
