Two volumes of proceedings in Springer LNAI 5288 and CCIS 19, with 159 articles and 1500 pages in 5 main tracks http://www.open-knowledge-society.org/proceedings.htm http://www.open-knowledge-society.org/cfpsummit.htm 2. Four keynotes and 4 workshops We are happy to announce the agreement with Springer to publish post-conference proceedings for late submissions to the 1st WORLD SUMMIT ON THE KNOWLEDGE SOCIETY. There is a deadline for late submissions: 30th August 2008 This edition will be published in Springer USA, with 650 pages under the title: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT FOR GOVERNMENTAL CONSULTING. Submissions are open at: http://www.open-knowledge-society.org/sumbissions.htm Important note: for people not able to attend physically to the summit there is an option for a virtual participation - publication to the post-conference proceedings.
