Hi Zoran, Your are quite right, I must admit I spend more time ensuring my pages look the same in different browsers rather than concentrating on the code. In fact I have just upgraded my own site to XHTML and upon validation have discovered 43 errors on the first page! Looks like I have some work to do! This mail better match is firefox dev list in my humble opinion then here. Validation service is there to verify documents that they comply guidelines/standards and browsers should implement those standards. If page is valid markup and CSS browsers in ideal should render it the same way.
