you have sharp eye :) people become fanatic in trying to make things absolutely the same in all browsers. This mail better match is firefox dev list in my humble opinion then here. Validation service is there to verify documents that they comply guidelines/standards and browsers should implement those standards. If page is valid markup and CSS browsers in ideal should render it the same way.
