What document were you trying to validate, what problems did you face? Does your feedback mean you think there is a bug in the validator, or do you have a suggestion to improve its error message? Your feedback prose is... meager, and we on the mailing-list are only left to guess. P.S: the target attribute is generally only available in transitional flavors of HTML. If you want it, use XHTML 1.0 Transitional or HTML 4.01 Transitional. If you want to use the strict document type, then forget about target - it has usability flaws anyway. regards -- olivier
