Substitute foo.cgi?chap=1§=2 in the above, and you'll find people asking why it doesn't work - precisely because browsers get it right. And that's regarding mainstream browsers such as those of Microsoft, Mozilla, KDE/Apple and Opera, as well as specialist and minority browsers. -- Nick Kew
