Hi, I've got the Validator setup on a linux machine on our internal network and have managed to get things work, for the most part. The scripts work however, when I try to validate a test page I am getting the error "This page is not Valid HTML 4.01 Transitional!". However, when I use this same test page on the W3 validator website it validates just fine. I also do not get the usual error messages telling me what lines of the HTML code are causing the problems. I am using the files from the tar ball on http://validator.w3.org/source/. I've tried using a different version from the CVS repository, but I get the same results. I'd appreciate any help that anyone could offer. Thanks in advance, David ___________________________ David Taylor Database Specialist Rapidparts Inc. 616.647.3108 dtaylor@rpionline.com
