I was using the extended interface to upload a document from my local machine. The validator did not autodetect the charset properly so I went back and specified (UTF-8). This is the result : http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=;ss=1;verbose=1;charset=utf-8%20(Unicode%2C%20worldwide) I think 'charset' is picking up all the text from the selection box in error. Gannon J.
