Hi Validators I'm validating http://200.16.86.250/portal/nuke/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=2 and getting more than 5000 errors. The validator's output is so bulky that it's difficult to use. The computer goes 100% CPU while my Netscape 7 sets the page for a long time, and it's difficult to scroll to the bottom to look at the source listing, The problem is that the page has a long string of invalid characters, about 5000 binary zeros. _______________________________________________________________ The suggestion: treat and report any number of contiguous invalid characters as only one item. _______________________________________________________________ This way the meaningful errors (there are many in this awful page) will not get lost in the huge list.
