I'm afraid that there's no tarball of the version at v.w.o, it's a
version based on the 0.6.1 release of the validator, with some
"hotfixes" applied.

The closest you can currently get to the version running at v.w.o is to
use what's the latest and greatest on the validator-0_6_0-branch in
CVS.  v.w.o isn't quite up to date with all changes there, but that
should be fixed soonish.  See the updated instructions in CVS (to appear
in the next validator release):
