Validator issues with XHTML

 	 I am currently having issues with the MX validator.  When amending code through the validator it does not save the changes I make.  When I re-open the files, the code has not been amended, even though I have hand coded the errors.

The main perpetrator is 'onMouseOut' and 'onMouseOver' references, but it happens with other elements in each file.  I don't know whether I need to change a setting in my preferences, or whether I am simply being blonde.
