Unfortunately, at least to me, the word validator does not imply that it
only checks against dtd rules.
It implies to me that the checked page is valid, which can include lint
checking.

In any event, it is bad policy to rely on a single word to indicate all
the meaning you intend.
A few sentences would not hurt.

However, if you must, then change the name to validatornotlint.
