I've updated my validator patches, they're at
<URL:http://cachalot.ods.org/patches/w3c-validator/> and a RedHat 7.x
RPM (includes these patches) is at <URL:http://cachalot.ods.org/RPMS/>.
Executive summary of the patches:
protocols, file-spec, checklink-cleanup, checklink-options, file-spec:
Nothing new, just updated to current CVS.
errornumbers:
Numbered errors as suggested by Sascha Claus in
<URL:http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-validator/2002Apr/0067.html> as well as a small HTML fix.
result-form:
More sanity into results section when uploading files, a typo fix
($File->{Opt}->{'Is Upload'} ==> $File->{'Is Upload'}), fixed an <a
name> buglet.
referer-relpath:
Redirect "/check/referer" to the corresponding "/check?uri=[referer]" so
that we can use a relative path in the form on the results page, eg.
<form action="check">, aids installations to non-webserver-root.
Another way to accomplish basically the same would be to store a
"relative path to check", which would be "../" in the referer case and
an empty string otherwise.
