Euro Symbol in XHTML from Peter Schwab on 2002-02-07 (www-validator@w3.org from February 2002)

Hallo friends,

the use of "&euro;"-symbol triggers the following error message:

"Error: illegal character number 128 "

Now that the euro is the official currancy in most countries of the EC, I
believe this should be fixed.
