The arguments, "HTTP logic" VS "I want to validate my error pages", have
indeed been given before.

IMHO the fact that the validator respects the logic behind HTTP (i.e "I
won't validate the page since it's not found") is useful most of the
time, while "I want to validate my error page" is very marginal.

If there's not sensible way to satisfy both camps, I'd rather we stay
the way it is now.
