Can I just confirm that the following is INCORRECT: </HEAD> <script language='JavaScript'> <!-- w=650;h=60; function bpo(){var nw=window.open('http://banners.directnic.com/java.html','AS2957135573','widt h='+w+',height='+h);nw.focus();} //--> </script><BODY The script that is added by the server daemons for banner ads, inserts it BETWEEN the closing </head> tag and the opening <body> tag. Shouldn't this appear BEFORE the </head> tag? Am I correct in believing that this is incorrect HTML? The support guy at DirectNIC is very sure of himself, and gives the impression that DirectNIC does no wrong.. Well, the Validator certainly does not insert a NUL byte. That leaves DirectNIC or Homesite. My money would be on DirectNIC and their banner ad code. Feel free to send DirectNIC my way if they would like assurance that it's not the Validator inserting the NUL. -- "You gonna take advice from somebody who slapped DEE BARNES?!" -- eminem
