Checked site crashes Netscape

I would be very glad to receive some comments why Netscape crashes when
loading a page which has been checked with the validator and also with
CSS

The content is historical and genealogical and uses all kind of lists
and formatted paragraphs. It loads well with IE5.5 but shows there also
a notifiable misbehaviour in layout.
