Hello Again-- RE: Uploaded Files in the HTML Validator I emailed the listserv a month or so back regarding validation errors. At that point in time the validator was giving one instance of an error even in there was multiple instances within the document for HTML 4.0 Strict. For example, if a document had several occurances of linked images with the border being removed within the image tags, only the first occurance would appear as an error and the remaining border/image errors would be ignored and not be displayed in the validation results. Now I am finding that this is also occuring within HTML 4.0 Transitional when previously all errors, duplicate or not, were displayed in the results. Is there a solution to this since the lack of error results can be confusing to a "student" of HTML? RE: CSS Validator I have also noticed with the CSS Validator, specifically with the File Upload feature, that when you validator a .css file the errors are listed but in the file listing shown at the end of the results there is no "evidence" of the text in error as it is omitted. Is this the way it was intended to work or an oversite? Sorry for the "dumb" questions, but I am trying to put my lesson plans in order for my students for the coming quarter. Sincerely, Marie Taylor-Harper -- -Marie Taylor-Harper
