For some reason that site is inaccessible from MIT. It must be
some kind of routing problem.

I can access that machine from these sites:

    ohaton.cs.ualberta.ca
    login.metalab.unc.edu
    omicron.pair.com

but not from my desktop at MIT or from validator.w3.org. (also at MIT.)

Here's a script you can use to do traceroutes from validator.w3.org
to any site on the net:

http://validator.w3.org/traceroute

and here's what it currently says for hutchinson.belmont.ma.us:

    1 anacreon.lcs.mit.edu (18.29.0.1) 10.390 ms 1.020 ms 6.286 ms
    2 radole.lcs.mit.edu (18.24.10.3) 50.027 ms 1.267 ms 0.872 ms
    3 B24-RTR-LCS-LINK.MIT.EDU (18.201.1.1) 1.943 ms 1.424 ms 1.528 ms
    4 ESNET-RTR-MIT-ETHER.MIT.EDU (18.201.0.118) 1.591 ms 1.494 ms 1.249 ms
