Recently I run my site's files thorugh Validator. Nearly all of them got the "no errors" message, and so I copied your code to display the little banner ("Valid HTML 4"). When I passed the pages with this little image (and the code that links the image to Validator)... IT DOESN'T PASS AS VALID HTML 4! See the report I get now: ================================================================= Error at line 590: p://validator.w3.org/"><img border=0 src="vh40.gif" alt="Val there is no attribute "BORDER" (explanation...) ================================================================= I'm using HTML 4.0 strict as DTD, but I think you shoul take that BORDER attribute out of your sample code... Thank you! Héctor Monacci monacci@ibm.net www.monacci.net
