http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=774 Summary: Missing warning for color/background-color mismatch Product: CSSValidator Version: CSS Validator Platform: Other OS/Version: other Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Other AssignedTo: ot@w3.org ReportedBy: bjoern@hoehrmann.de QAContact: www-validator-cvs@w3.org From http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-style/2003Sep/0009.html '' I noticed yesterday that the W3C CSS validator no longer issues a warning when just color or background-color is declared in a rule. It used to warn about the absence of color or background-color when one was declared and the other was not. Does anyone know if this has been "officially" changed?
