To Whom It May Concern, I looked through the CSS validator FAQ and Reported Problems, and didn't see anything about my issue. I have on numerous occasions received errors when trying to use the validator, but I don't mean declarations of code errors that are not accurate; I mean that the validator has been unavailable altogether, or unable to respond, or something. I get one of two results when this happens: 1) "This Page Cannot be Found" sort of error message page, or 2) A blank white page with the error message: "Servlet has thrown exception:javax.servlet.ServletException: Timed out" What I notice is that sometimes that will happen with 1 page but not another, but then in 5 or 10 minutes it won't happen with the page with which it did occur just a few minutes ago... It seems to be intermittent, in other words. I like to use referrer links, but it has also happened when I go to the validator page and enter the URI into the field. It has happened with quite a number of pages; of my own and of my web design students. Check them at out http://members.cruzio.com/~webcab9/3/ (3rd period is my web design class; learn more about me at http://www.mraltenberg.net/. I would really like to know what's going on here. Is it a problem at our end, with our web host Cruzio, or with the validator itself? I hope very much to hear back from someone. Thanks very much, Ted :-) < > < > < > < > < > < > < > < > "Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever." --Mohandes K.
