Validate by File Upload...

Hi all.
First, thank you for your work :)
Next, I made a small FireFox extension which use the W3C CSS validator:

and I have some questions about the online validator...

- Is there a way to parse a document from a URI with a schema different 
from http:// ?
( like https:// ... or file:// )
It's a big limitation IMO :(

- Why do the "Validate by File Upload" accetps only CSS... ?
