Hi,

It was my understanding that the '_' character was to
be accepted in CSS names and identifiers by the CSS
Validator as being legal.

http://www.w3.org/Style/css2-updates/REC-CSS2-19980512-errata.html

My stylesheets keep chucking parse errors with an
underscore character.

I've tested this on many browsers (IE 5.5, 6.0;
Netscape 4.7x/8, 6/7, Mozilla 1.x, and all those new
Mac browsers - Safari, Chimera, Konquerer etc) and
it's never been a problem.

I searched the archives, and it was mentioned in May
2002 with a note saying it should be fixed in a
week... any news?

Thanks!

Sam
