I have a well-formed and valid XHTML document at <URL: 
http://crism.maden.org/dunno.html >.  The W3C HTML validation service and 
nsgmls confirm this.  However, the CSS validator rejects it, stating that 
the XML document is not valid.

Additionally, I have to view source to find this out; the CSS positioning 
renders the page entirely unreadable in MSIE 5.5 (5.50.4522.1800, SP1, 
Windows NT 4.0 SP6).
