-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Attached is an updated version of the glossary based on the last round of comments I received. I struggled with the issue of "program". Since we last discussed this, I found a public posting of the SMPTE and EBU joint public task force report dealing with harmony of bitstream content in television, which included food for the glossary. So, you will find the new public international terms, "content" and "essence" used here as defined by SMPTE and EBU, which avoids the term overload with "program". I'm offline right now, but the full report can be found off both the SMPTE (www.smpte.org) and EBU (www.ebu.org) web sites. We'll include the exact URL on the updated www-tv web site "soon". If there are no notable comments in the next few days, I'll get the glossary posted to the web site. FYI, I added anchors for every term in case anyone wants to refer to the individual terms in future documents.
