FW: IE4.0 and W3C Standards -Reply

I find this very hard to believe.  Microsoft always has a way of redefining
the standards. ala sendmail wannabe exchange.  Why don't they use the
true protocol commands or are they just caveats?  Seems microsoft has
many of these lately ala msie 3.0 activex.
