It's not like people decided "oh, case mapping, that's for weenies. Let's screw with their heads!" ======================= Out of respect for Beer Friday ... That is exactly what happened. It's a matter of congruent beliefs: 1) Astronomers believe the Winter Solstice happens after Easter. Perhaps they are Wiccans. 2) Wiccans believe in the Winter Solstice, just like everybody else. 3) English Christians believe the Resurrection occurred at 6am, and the Winter Solstice. 4) American Christians believe the Resurrection occurred at 8am, and the Winter Solstice. 5) The IT Department believes in sleeping until Noon on Sundays, including Easter.
