It seems like most things end up being useful as imperative in one way
or another down the road. E.g. <input type=file> is used that way
sometimes (via .click()). But that kind of thing should come up during
API review in general I think. And I'm not sure how fussed we should
be about whether the API is in the form of <element> or method().
Either way it needs review as to whether it's the best approach.
