Hi, a month or so ago I gave a talk on the "Philosophy of the Social Web" at the Institut Télécom in Paris. It is geared towards engineers giving them an overview of the Social Web and how Linked Data and WebID can be used to build much larger social networks than any we have hitherto seen while solving the privacy problems inherent in the current architecture. The talk was filmed, and put on the web at https://vimeo.com/39762047 They did a very good job of editing the slides in. This is a shorter version of a talk I gave a few years ago at the first Web Philosophy conference that links web architecture, the philosophy of language and the philosophy of mind. Btw. if anyone is in Paris this weekend Pat Hayes and Christopher Menze will be giving a talks on the philosophy of the Web at the Sorbonne. It is organised in cooperation with IRI, the research and innovation institute and the Pompidou Center http://calenda.revues.org/nouvelle22666.html Henry Social Web Architect http://bblfish.net/
