I'm sorry if there is confusion, but I was reporting to the TAG the formation of a steering group in fulfillment of my action item. This is not an open discussion group for the public to join. However, there is already such a mailing list: www-tag. Perhaps it would be a good idea to start an open mailing list specifically dedicated to the issue of registries and their use in the web architecture? I'm not sure. The positions already well-understood, we're trying to work on concrete proposals. If you have comments, requirements, or other input, or especially if you have a concrete proposal you'd like to make, start out here (on www-tag@w3.org) please. May I propose that the list be made public and unmoderated? I considered adding this proposal to the Wiki, but with the Wiki's Privacy Policy, "There is currently no text in this page.", I am unsure what I would be getting myself in to... -- Björn Höhrmann · mailto:bjoern@hoehrmann.de · http://bjoern.hoehrmann.de Am Badedeich 7 · Telefon: +49(0)160/4415681 · http://www.bjoernsworld.de 25899 Dagebüll · PGP Pub.
