Thanks, Martin. I had a vague impression this was true, but didn't at the time have time or network access to check. I'll make sure the minutes read along the following lines: -- NM: Ian Hickson has submitted the ws and wss URI scheme registrations to IETF. Documentation of APIs and Protocols is also out there in drafts somewhere, but I don't at the moment recall where. (Subsequent checking with help of Martin Dürst shows that the protocol has indeed been submitted to IETF. See http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-hixie-thewebsocketprotocol [scribe]) -- Noah -------------------------------------- Noah Mendelsohn IBM Corporation One Rogers Street Cambridge, MA 02142 1-617-693-4036 -------------------------------------- "Martin J. However, please note http://www.ietf.org/id/draft-hixie-thewebsocketprotocol-40.txt (newest version always available through http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-hixie-thewebsocketprotocol; the number at the end changes quite often) and http://www.ietf.org/mail-archive/web/hybi/current/msg00554.html.
