Contrary to what others have said, asking IANA to have the data as RDF is not impossible, but (based on experience with LTRU) at least two things are necessary for this to be feasible: 1) A good community consensus that this is really needed 2) Very precise instructions about what to do, not in terms of RDF properties but in terms of lines in a file or so, and somebody volunteering to be around and help them if needed. Also, asking IANA to have data at a very specific location isn't impossible, see e.g. http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc4790 and http://www.iana.org/assignments/collation/collation-index.html. > And > that client software must not look up this file more than once in its > installed life. How would such a client be able to know about newly defined link relationships? For some more suitable text, see e.g. http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc5646#section-6 (later half).
