This would go a looong way towards clarifying alot of the issues behind the perpetual dialog about interpretations and assumptions that web agents can make authoritatively from the mechanics of the transport protocol. In addition, it would go quite a way towards resolving some of the murky landscape regarding the intersection of web architecture and the semantic web. I've commented about this issue on various occasions on this mailing list recently. IMHO, this would be a *necessary* first step towards a coherent framework for semantic web agents - something which is seriously lacking at the moment and being filled by interpretations of AWWW specs which lack a certain amount of axiomatic authority that such an ontology would have. -- Chimezie
