Dear www-tag, This is a summary of the TAG's activity from 10 Oct 2003 (end date of the previous summary [1]) to 10 Nov 2003. The TAG held four teleconferences during this period. [1] http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-tag/2003Oct/0024 [2] http://www.w3.org/2001/tag/ 1) Issues The TAG accepted two issues during this period: URIGoodPractice-40: What are good practices for URI construction? http://www.w3.org/2001/tag/issues.html#URIGoodPractice-40 XMLVersioning-41: What are good practices for designing extensible XML languages and for handling versioning? http://www.w3.org/2001/tag/issues.html#XMLVersioning-41 In addition to those issues, the TAG discussed issue abstractComponentRefs-37 during this period. The TAG's issues list is available at: http://www.w3.org/2001/tag/ilist 2) Findings The TAG published new drafts of the following findings during this period: "Abstract Component References" http://www.w3.org/2001/tag/doc/abstractComponentRefs.html "Using Qualified Names (QNames) as Identifiers in Content" http://www.w3.org/2001/tag/doc/qnameids-2003-11-03 The TAG continues to work on a number of other draft findings. A final plan has not yet been established and coordination continues. 5) Upcoming events The TAG will meet face-to-face in November, in Japan. The TAG will report on its progress to the Advisory Committee that same week.
