(more on spaces in IRIs). An observation I have not seen is that anyURI limits spaces significantly with the rather obscure constraining facet whiteSpace=collapse. (I hadn't notice this until now). This means that an anyURI does not: - start with a space - end with a space - contain double space inside it - contain #xA #xD or #x9 The IRI in namespaces 1.1 allows for all of these possibilites (possibility not the first, since namespace IRIs have to be absolute.) I am not sure what the IRI draft permits. Jeremy
