Hi, I would like to get an idea of the future of SVG. I work for a company that focuses on the service of taking a personalised design to print, with the highest quality. We implement several image formats to achieve this but would like to consolidate to as few formats as possible. Thus far the closest format we have found that meets the majority of our requirements is SVG, in particular native browser support and ICC colour profiles From reading specification after specification SVG constantly reinforces itself as the format to use, however we are increasingly concerned with the lack of development and the lack of vendor investment and support, particularly in the area of support on mobile devices and printing. Perhaps you could give some insight as to the situation of the SVG 2 Roadmap, and why it doesn't appear to have progressed since August 2012 and why the Work Group does not seem to be particularly active. Also if you could give some insight as to why vendors do not seem to have much support for this format? Perhaps you have some information for future progress that might give us confidence, or some insight as to where we should perhaps be looking instead. Ultimately I need to know, should my company invest in SVG and any information you could give to assist in making that decision would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks Kieran
