Raphael.js is another popular library for maps: http://raphaeljs.com/world During the US presidential election I did an informal "State of the election map union" for the tech behind election maps. Here's what I found: ABC - Raphaël / SVG Washington Post - Leaflet / SVG+HTML Politico - Raphaël / SVG NYT - Custom? Canvas / HTML RealClearPolitics - Raphaël / SVG FoxNews - Raphaël / SVG MSNBC - Raphaël / SVG Google - PolyGonzo / Canvas HuffingtonPost - Raphaël / SVG BBC - Raphaël / SVG (SVG won the election :) On Wed, Jul 17, 2013 at 2:22 PM, Doug Schepers <schepers@w3.org> wrote: > Hi, Vicky- > > I suggest you look at d3.js [1].
