https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=19726 Priority: P2 Bug ID: 19726 Assignee: schepers@w3.org Summary: Definition of SVGDefsElement needs clarification QA Contact: www-svg@w3.org Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: All Reporter: dschulze@adobe.com Hardware: PC Status: NEW Version: SVG 2.0 Component: Document Structure Product: SVG The definition of the SVG <defs> element needs some more clarification. The usage of rendering tree is confusing. The definition of this term is missing and does not match current implementations like Firefox or WebKit. To say it gets handled as if display:none was applied is awkward either. For some implementations this means no Renderer - an implementation detail that should be removed. The text should be clear what is meant. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the QA Contact for the bug.
