Kevin Ar18: >With that in mind. There are a number of changes I could make and problems >worth noting: > >* Current test uses xhtml - want to change to plain html5 Well, HTML5 is only a draft today, but there are several recommendations for XHTML. For advanced semantics it would be a good thing to use the XHTML+RDFa recommendation. this could be used to reference semantical meanings from HTML5 or other languages. This is a much better and general and recommended approach than using HTML5 documents for more than testing the HTML5 draft itself ;o) By the way - the SVG tiny 1.2 test suite contains several tests, that could be resused easily to improve the SVG 1.1 test suite as well. For example most of the animation tests I provided apply to SVG 1.1 as well, because there are no relevant changes - and those can be surely used to improve SVG 1.1 viewers, what would be pretty useful for authors of course ;o) And for a test suite this is much more useful as renaming tests or to create yet another test frame or to test WOFF or HTML5 drafts in an SVG test suite now ;o) And this could be another chance to finish the work of the SVG group on the SVG tiny 1.2 test suite (in a beta stage since 2008?) somehow ;o) Olaf
