I'm confused by the mix of event types here :) Did you mean: "jwatt's suggestion was that onabort and onerror be _abort and error_ events rather having _SVGAbort and SVGError_ events IIRC."? If that's what you meant then I agree. And if we do drop/replace them we'd need to remap the onabort/onerror attributes such that they add listeners for the right eventtypes too.
