SVG1.2: AdBlock has the WG considered how users might block undesired SVG content? might seem far-fetched but... my thinking is that up until recently svg is either sandboxed in some corporate project, or created in good faith. there hasn't been a commercial case for advertising or svg banner ads etc. my concern is that should SVG ever get popular, there's no real reason not to provide such stuff.
