SVG12: DOMActivate extensions vs DOM Level 3 Events

Dear Scalable Vector Graphics Working Group,

  http://www.w3.org/TR/2005/WD-SVGMobile12-20051207/interact.html seems
to attempt to extend the semantics of the DOMActivate event, it defines
that the event.detail context information is in use while DOM Level 3
Events does not. If the SVG Working Group thinks DOM Level 3 Events
should be extended like this, please coordinate with the WebAPI WG to
define this; until then, please remove this extension from the draft.

I note that in any case the semantics of this extensions are not really
clear to me, the concepts of "simple activation" and "hyperactivation"
are defined only by example. I was unable to find an implementation of
this "hyperactivation".
