Dear Scalable Vector Graphics Working Group, http://www.w3.org/TR/2005/WD-SVGMobile12-20051207/svgudom.html defines the parseXML method in a confusing manner; in addition to the incorrect reference to Namespaces in XML 1.1, it suggests that if the document parameter is specified and the parsed document is an XML 1.1 document that uses e.g. XML 1.1 specific element names, and the 'document' is an XML 1.0 document, that the method would not return null. As the method is defined in terms of the importNode method, which would raise an exception in this case, it is unclear what would happen. Please remove these two problems. regards, -- Björn Höhrmann · mailto:bjoern@hoehrmann.de · http://bjoern.hoehrmann.de Weinh.
