Yes, if I make a style sheet for a compound XHTML+SVG document I would not know whether system colors are okay or not, or for which properties, neither would I know how to implement proper warnings for deprecated features in the CSS Validator, for example. I see you've now copied and pasted the definition for system colors and modified it a bit.
