Dear Scalable Vector Graphics Working Group, From http://www.w3.org/TR/2004/WD-SVG12-20041027/ I can't really make sense of the references to "HTMLEvent", this seems just wrong. Please change the draft such that I can easily make sense of it. Various events do not seem to be well-defined, for example, it is said for {"http://www.w3.org/2001/xml-events", "error"} The error event occurs when an element does not load properly or when an error occurs during script execution. and The document, or a resource linked from it, has been loaded but cannot be interpreted according to its semantic, such as an invalid image, a script execution error, or non-well-formed XML and An image does not load properly or when an error occurs during script execution. This event is valid for OBJECT elements, BODY elements, and FRAMESET element. Assuming the first definition is supposed to be the only normative definition, I could not find a precise definition of the conditions to be met for an element to "load properly". Please change the draft such that there is such a precise definition. regards. -- Björn Höhrmann · mailto:bjoern@hoehrmann.de · http://bjoern.hoehrmann.de Weinh.
