Dear Scalable Vector Graphics Working Group, http://www.w3.org/TR/2005/WD-SVGMobile12-20050413/svgudom.html fails to state that the normative definition of features is the corresponding DOM specification. This causes a number of subtle problems, readers are likely not to refer to the real definition of these features and thus miss important information. For example, for getElementById the draft fails to note that "id" attributes are not of type ID unless so defined. Many SVG implementations fail to take that into account and simply consider all "id" attributes to be of type ID. Please change the draft such that it is clear where to find the normative definition of these features and how to decide whether differences are errors or meant to be a "subset" of the feature. regards. -- Björn Höhrmann · mailto:bjoern@hoehrmann.de · http://bjoern.hoehrmann.de Weinh.
