Dear Scalable Vector Graphics Working Group, In http://www.w3.org/TR/2005/WD-SVGMobile12-20050413/struct.html section 5.1.2, [...] A group of elements, as well as individual objects, can be given a name using the id attribute. Named groups are needed for several purposes such as animation and re-usable objects. [...] This is a poor suggestion as new content should use the xml:id not the id attribute.
