Because SVG is based on XML, it fits into the WebObjects paradigm
very nicely.
As such, with very little work, WebObjects becomes an excellent generator of
SVG: SVGObjects Framework is a set of WebObjects components that
fascilitates that.

(Unfortunately, the examples are not hosted and only provided as source
code, so you would need WebObjects 4.5 to install & run them.
But hopefully this will change)
